The Mission

About

Each year, Outside Lands rallies around a cause that matters. We call it The Mission, a festival-wide focus with roots planted in Hellman Hollow, where you’ll find non-profit organizations doing powerful work year-round.

For 2025, The Mission is all about activism and collective action. In a time when stakes are high, we’re doubling down on efforts to move the needle, turning passion into action – from protecting the planet to standing up for human rights to demanding meaningful, lasting change.

We are partnering with organizations that are engaged in meaningful work like HeadCount, Amnesty International, Indivisible, Run for Something Civics, Sunrise Movement Bay Area, 350 Bay Area Action and more.

Whether you're a seasoned organizer or just starting to find your voice, The Mission invites you to get involved, get informed, and take action. Stop by and learn how you can effect change and make a difference.
